Pitch Wars’ Submission Window Is Now Closed--What's Next?

First off, I just want to thank everyone who submitted to us once again. Two years ago, when I applied to this contest I remember how much thought I put into the mentors I chose--so every query we've received means a lot.

We're also having a lot of fun reading every query!

Mentor picks won’t be announced until September 3rd, but since Stacey and I like to involve other people in our fun, we may be sharing a few videos over the next couple weeks that talk a little more about some of the trends--and fun things--we’re seeing inside our Pitch Wars inbox.

So, make sure to check back either here, or on Stacey's Blog. We know how hard waiting can be, so we definitely want to share updates while we keep you all in suspense.

Thanks again for stopping by! And if there's anything else you'd like Stacey or I to share, please feel free to let us know in  the comments.

~Stephanie

  1. Yay! I look forward to reading about the trends and other things you notice. Thanks so much for taking the time to share(:

If it's not too much trouble, would it be possible to do a post after the mentees have been chosen talking about what made a pitch successful and what were the common mistakes? It'd be really helpful for people like me, to get some hints as to how we can improve.

    ^_^

    1. Hi, Eustacia!

I'm glad you're looking forward to hearing about the trends we see! It's always nice to know if people are actually interested the things we're excited to share.

And it wouldn't be too much trouble at all to a post after the mentees have been chosen--especially if people like you are interested reading it! Stacey and I will definitely put something like together. :)

  2. Hi, as someone who submitted to you and Stacey, I just wanted to say a quick 'hello' (after the deadline, so you don't think I'm being creepy :-))

I only found out about #pitchwars at the last moment thanks to one of my US crit partners (I'm British), and it's been lots of fun reading your website, watching the videos and figuring out how twitter actually works although I've had an account for a while!

I hit lots of the criteria on your wish list, but whether my writing and QL is up to scratch is another matter entirely, lol, but any way you look at it, even being part of the process is great for relatively newbie writers like me.

So thanks for sharing your talent and enthusiasm :-). I'm really curious to see what happens on the 3rd and like Eustacia would be interested, in due course, to learn more about why you made the choices you did.

I went for checkup twice after taking the natural treatment from the herbalist called Dr onokun and i tested negative. contact him on email: Dronokunherbalcure@gmail.com

  4. I was diagnosed as HEPATITIS B carrier in 2013 with fibrosis of the liver already present. I started on antiviral medications which reduced the viral load initially. After a couple of years the virus became resistant. I started on HEPATITIS B Herbal treatment from ULTIMATE LIFE CLINIC (www.ultimatelifeclinic.com) in March, 2020. Their treatment totally reversed the virus. I did another blood test after the 6 months long treatment and tested negative to the virus. Amazing treatment! This treatment is a breakthrough for all HBV carriers.
